Around a 40 minute walk largely along the banks of the River Ouse takes you to Newick village with three great Pubs (The Bull, The Royal Oak and The Crown, Bakery, Indian restaurant, Grocery Store and more.

Around a 50 minute walk largely through woodland takes you to the Sloop Inn.
